I remember Evelyn from many many years ago at Rideau Park. She was a lovely lady, and a big part of the Rideau Park Church community. My sympathies to her family....

I remember Evelyn from growing up at Rideau Park Church. She was a dedicated social activist for third world development her whole life. She was certainly an inspiration to me and one of the main reasons I chose a career in international development.

Evelyn was the dedicated founder of our prayer group at Rideau Park United Church when we were missionaries in Kenya from 1979 to 1985. She was conscientious in sharing our news and photos with the congregation and presbytery and raising awareness of global affairs. Her passion for international and justice issues were an inspiration for our whole family. She and Eric were good friends to us as a family and were a great encouragement to our ministry.
Our sincere condolences to all her family. She will be missed.

Re: Guest Book for Evelyn Henderson
H Alastaire,
Thank you for your email. It was kind of you to write.
Your mother was very special to us, and we will miss her, but the good memories, and the results of her commitment, remain.
Best wishes,
Pauline & Keith Worsley-Brown
