Loving mother of Alastaire, Jay (JoAnne), Hildegarde and Mark (Debbie). Special grandmother to Erica, Avery, Valerie, Christine and Lana. Dear sister of Wesley W. Leonard (late Irene). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Born in Cheng-du, China, Evelyn was a long-time member of Rideau Park United Church and committed social activist. Eric and Evelyn travelled to every continent in their retirement years. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Sunday, July 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa, on Monday, July 14, at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions to Rideau Park United Church would be appreciated.
