Circles

The deafening Day, the silent night.
The busy world and it's quiet after life.

All things must stop, before they can start.
A racing pulse to a slow beating heart.

It's impossible to stop this circle's spin.
You always must lose, before you can win.

Life is forever an unbalanced scale.
You can't become strong without first being frail.

Are you still smart, if there's no more to learn?
Or will the circle continue to turn.

You can not succeed without something to lose.
And you can't be happy without the blues.

Your life may suck, but soon things will change,
and everything will become right as rain.

And just when you think your life is great.
All the love you feel can turn into hate.

So sing, and love, and laugh, and live.
But always remember it's important to forgive.
